todays turbocharge workshop was great!
the kids were a fun bunch.
and i learnt new stuff as well, erm not really new actually.
play to win instead of playing not to lose. i guess ive always adopted the playing not to lose mentality even though i very well knew i must play to win if i wanted to achieve in life. all my beliefs, goals, dreams WILL come to light one day.

and the last part, we were watching a video of helen keller. her story (and her teacher - anne sullivan) somehow touched me. her never say die attitude inspired me. yes she was angry and all but she never gave up. i feel so guilty now. i have this student whos GRR ARGH @#*!@#( and i always said i give up. well, ill take back what i say and work to help him achieve his distinction.
i want to be like that teacher, making a difference to peoples' lives. so far i feel happy to have the opportunity to coach those kids.especially when they score their much deserved A1s. :)
there are people telling me, find others la ur pay so low. but to me it really isnt about the money. i guess its about whether ur happy doing it or not isnt it?

and after the show, the kids were asked to hug their parents. seeing them hug so lovingly and some were even crying, its just so heartening. aw.
