to free yourself is to wipe away your tears and be far sighted. i know i shouldn't be gripping too tight.
you have the freedom to yourself and i have mine. i have to find a way and just keep walking this narrow road.

well, the january batch have ord'ed. and even gotten back their pink ic. when can i get mine? haha. 92 dreadful, tiring, hateful days to go. i know some people have wonderful memories from army life and they all say when you ord everything will just be fond memories. ya right. i wouldnt want to have any memories, fond(like dont really have haah) or not from army. these two years were the lowest point of my 20yearsofexistence. however its during this time where you see all sorts of people. unreasonable people, people after petty gains, plain lazy people etc. many would say army's a good time to experience these sorta stuff so that you would know what to do in the outside world. i beg to differ. i mean army and outside organisations are two different things altogether, cant apply the same method. see, in the army when you are performing below expectations, they want to keep you in service longer(db,extras, confinement,rt and whatnot). in the civilian world, you get kicked out immediately. haha if only army was like that. i just dont see why they cannot loosen their control over us. 92days to ord? no one will believe. ok back to the experiences, for me i'd rather not have experienced it at all. because if you're gona experience the same thing, why not experience it later rather than sooner? experiencing it twice just equates to double misery. haha.

in addition, army is a funny place. always making us come up with ideas to improve life AND AT THE SAME TIME must save cost. where got such thing?! the best idea is just to make all combat units stay out lar. no need to provide food, shelter, water and electricity. doesn't that save cost altogether? the only way to improve life is really just not having to book in at all on the weekends.

and in my unit we always get screwed upside down for not marching properly or having longhair(trust me, their long hair would mean short hair actually.those whove seen me, my hair is considered long to them). wth has hair length and marching gotta do with discipline? pui. i mean i can understand the need for a neat and tidy hairstle. but the back and sides must be as short as 1mm? HMM. weird right?!
well i think everything's our fault even though it really isn't. welcome to the place of a thousand warped logics, deranged minds.

i guess no one would really understand unless you're from my unit.

but thankfully for more sane, rational and helpful people, they make life in camp more bearable.
